Terms of Service

By installing or using Scout (the Chrome extension and related Service), you agree to these terms. If you don't, don't use it.

1. The service

Scout reads public LinkedIn profile data on pages you visit and uses an AI model to generate match scores and outreach drafts. It runs as a Chrome extension and connects to our backend on Cloudflare.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. Subscription terms:

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first month, no questions asked. Email support@scoutforhr.com within 14 days of your first charge for a full refund. After the first 14 days, refunds are issued at our discretion.

The first 3 analyses are free. We may change the free-tier limit with 14 days' notice for new users; existing users keep whatever limit they had at signup.

6. Availability

We aim for high uptime but make no guarantee. The Service may be unavailable during maintenance, due to upstream provider issues (Cloudflare, Groq, LinkedIn DOM changes), or for reasons outside our control. If the Service is down for more than 7 consecutive days in a billing cycle, we'll prorate the affected period.

7. Disclaimers

Scout is provided as-is. The AI-generated analysis and outreach drafts are suggestions, not professional advice. You're responsible for reviewing what you send.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Termination

We can suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms. You can stop using Scout at any time by uninstalling and cancelling your subscription.

10. Changes

If we materially change these terms, we'll notify subscribers by email at least 14 days before changes take effect.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute is resolved in the appropriate Saudi courts.
